If you want to use every ounce of energy and feel the most alive you ever have, John is you trainer. I started with a low level of fitness and over a year and a half, have been replacing pounds of body fat with muscle month after month and feeling better in every way. John is extremely knowledgeable about body composition, exercise and nutrition and puts together a plan that fits the goals you want, be it strength, speed or if you just want to look like him ;) Everything is tracked so you can see your progress which helps when it gets tough. It does take time but you have to trust the process, it works. He will push you to your best, you'll grow muscles you never knew you had but theres always fun and good laugh to be had. It doesn't get easier, you just get faster stronger and lift heavier. Flexibility is great, whether its your local gym or home gym (my preference) and if the session starts late, you'll go until your finished. If you are looking for a personal trainer that actual cares about your health/wellness/fitness, John is all that, and more.

I have been working with John for a year and a half and he has helped me come so far in my fitness journey. John has been my trainer now for almost 1.5 years. I went to him with a shoulder issue, back issue, leg issue and not having gone for a real run in a while...somewhat embarrassing. However, my wife and I had found out we were pregnant, and I was determined to be an active dad. So, I found my trainer, John Ford. Each time we meet, he's got a customized workout for me. Never pushed too far from the getgo, and even has been able to change up the workout mid-workout if something is too hard or too easy. Bottom line, seeing John has changed my life - not just physiologically, as now I am proud to show off my dad bod, but physically and healthwise, I am more flexible, stronger, happier, and have no problem now crawling around and lifting my 11-month-old boy. I could not rank John higher. I HATED exercise before working with John. He makes it much better with fascinating conversation on any topic that is of interest to you. He designs an ideal workout -- the first thing all my friends say when they see me is how much better I look. I began training with John a little over a year ago. The physical results of his training have surpassed my expectations, and his motivation has guided me to a routine of regular exercise. His sessions go by quickly since he’s sociable and keeps you distracted, and he is skillful at correcting your form so you can successfully work out safely on your own. John has brought me back to almost my my goal weight, his workouts are fun (I usually can't believe when the hour is over). Hi, I started working with John about 10 weeks before my wedding and my goals were rather aggressive. I wanted to lose about 15-20 pounds and become more toned in a very short period of time. John said this is doable, but I'd really have to be committed and work hard at it. He was with me every step of the way and made the workouts fun. I started dieting 5 months before my wedding and working out here and there to prepare for my special day, but I needed John to help me tackle stubborn areas and gain more muscle definition—especially because my dress wasn't a very forgiving style. In just a month before my wedding and in 9 sessions, I saw visible results and differences in my body and appearance. I went from dreading the thought of wearing my dress, to feeling confident and excited to wear it!
I've strength-trained in the past and it usually bulked me up in a way I didn't like, but John's style of training gave me the feminine shape I was looking for. He used a combo of high-intensity interval training (aka fat-burning cardio), weight training, and TRX (resistance bands) to slim me down even further and tone my shoulders, back, and abs. To be honest, I didn't expect to see much change, but my dress had to be taken in an extra inch after my final fitting! Post-wedding, I still work out with John when I can. I definitely recommend pursuing a personalized program with him, especially for weddings and other special occasions. He really understands the kind of results the modern woman wants and is an expert trainer.

Before I started the 5 week JKF Fitness Plan, I was in a bit of a rut, constantly lifting. I had plateaued and was getting bored with my workout
Upon starting the 5 week JKF Fitness Plan, I was initially dreading the introduction of cardio into my workouts. I hate running, and wasn't looking forward to it.
The combination of short cardio warmups and routines mixed with lifting and circuit training ended up being the perfect combination to keep me interested in the next thing. I found myself looking forward to each new workout!
John was particularly helpful each step of the way, guiding me through new workouts I didn't fully understand and demonstrating anything I couldn't initially complete. Specifically, his stretching routine [Trainer Assisted and Video Guides] after workouts is absolutely what my body needed to properly wind down!
This plan really works both inside and out. My stamina and endurance increased, along with my muscle definition, but most importantly, my confidence.

I started working with John because I wanted to make a change in my life after gaining some weight and falling out of a wellness routine due to work. I was an active person, but wasn't a big fan of the gym. John was great in motivating me to get to the gym and through my workouts. He tailored workouts to my body and my interest, mixing indoor and outdoor and even Skype sessions while I was traveling. His flexibility in custom-tailoring the program was so helpful. We did check-ins and before and after photos to track my progress and hone in on areas I wanted to improve.

I gained 10 pounds after starting a new job and studying for the CFA. John and I started working together and developed a comprehensive action plan for our workouts. Based on my schedule, evening sessions are best; however, it's easy to get distracted after a long day and John helps keep me focused and ensures I get my sessions in. John is great at being both tough and upbeat so that the time goes by quickly.
